Swordfish with tomatoes, olive compote(カジキマグロのトマト煮)

I like traveling and cooking, because both are creative experiences and give me new discoveries.

When I was a university student, I  stayed in London for one month.

In that time, I lived with one of my friends, Michelle the musician. She taught me this wonderful dish, swordfish with tomatoes, olive compote. We call the dish "Michelle's Rice Bowl(ミシェル丼)" in honor of her .

The dish surprised me because I had never known black oilves and rice to be a very good combination.

Michelle loves Japanese meals, so she often cooks Japanese rice. But, now and agein  she conceives wonderful unique new recipes with rice.

Many culture inquire her cuisine, like her music.

Michelle cuisine is especially unique, like my friend Michelle !
